Penny Frenzy
Penny Frenzy is a unique, family friendly event that allows children of all ages to touch and play with pennies, while teaching them the value of money, importance of savings, rewards of giving and the history they hold in their hands. Its mission is to break down the barriers created between the seriousness of money and the playful nature of children in a fun, interactive and compelling way. The TCF Penny Frenzy is part of the Star Tribune Beach Bash. Additional festivities include the Kemps Milk Carton Boat Races, Xcel Energy Sandcastle Competition, Wilderness Inquiry's "Paddling Is For Everyone," Co-Ed Beach Volleyball, Wildlife Science Center Birds of Prey Exhibit, Ready 4K, and more.Note: Events are subject to change. The 65th Minneapolis Aquatennial takes place July 16 - 25, 2004. The Official Civic Celebration of the City of Minneapolis offers outstanding entertainment and activities in the City of Lakes for all ages.
